Quality end-of-life care focused on easing the physical, emotional and spiritual pain that often accompanies terminal illness
Hospice aids individuals on their human journey through life into death, and helps transition patients and families by offering comprehensive care focused on easing the physical, emotional, and spiritual pain that often accompanies terminal illness.
Services are provided wherever the patient calls home, be that a private home, apartment complex, assisted living, group home or long-term care facility. Care offered to residents of long-term care facilities who are facing a terminal illness is carried out in partnership with the facility staff.
The hospice team provides symptom and pain management; emotional and spiritual support; pet, music and massage therapies for residents and their families. Bereavement services are offered to family members during hospice care as well as after the death of their loved one.
Hospice helps a patient live to their fullest in their last days, maintaining the patient’s dignity and comfort while supporting family and friends through the entire process.
