116 Years of Caring for the Community

As one of the nation’s first non-profit, nurse-led, public health organizations, MVNA has faithfully served the health care needs of the community for more than a century. Stretching throughout the state of Minnesota and Western Wisconsin, delivering care in shelters and private homes, schools and child care centers, businesses and community centers. MVNA is the community connections care division for Hennepin Healthcare, providing over 20 community-based safety net programs spanning care needs from prenatal and birth, to chronic disease management, to end of life and bereavement. We focus on prevention, hospital follow-up, transitional care, supportive services, public health, and community health initiatives.
