Intake

Part-Time - to 35 hours per week

POSITION PURPOSE:

Perform intake services to facilitate the flow of Agency functioning and promote the good image of MVNA in the community. Work closely with Home Health and/or Family Health referrals. Position requires working some week-ends and is an in-house position. 

 QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Nurse with current license in Minnesota preferred
  • Intake experience preferred - ideally in homecare
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively by telephone and in person
  • Good problem solving skills

 

 

INTERN OR VOLUNTEER FOR LIFELINE     

  

POSITION PURPOSE:

 Install life line units and make service calls. Make sales calls and follow-up on leads.

 QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Intern who is currently enrolled in college (must be a junior or senior)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Can keep information confidential.

                   

 

Registered Nurses – Homecare

 

POSITION PURPOSE: 

Seeking full-time RN and roster RN's to provide home health nursing services and case management for adult clients in their homes in the Metro area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires at least 2 years of acute care nursing experience. Strong assessment and clinical nursing skills and ability to work independently. Computerized charting. Previous home care experience helpful.

 

 

Homemakers

Part-time or Casual  Daytime Hours  

 

POSITION PURPOSE: 

 

Seeking part-time / casual homemakers to provide light housekeeping, run errands and assist clients with food preparation in their homes located in Minneapolis and suburbs. Work daytime hours Monday - Friday

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

1 year experience as a homemaker or related work

Must have vehicle, proof of car insurance and driver's license (Mileage and travel time between visits are paid)

 

 

 

 

 

REGISTERED NURSES - PALLIATIVE CARE

 

 

POSITION PURPOSE: 

 

Seeking full-time or part-time registered nurses to provide palliative care for adults clients in their homes in the Metro area.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·        Requires nursing experience in palliative care, oncology or hospice.

·        Some computer skills as work environment does computerized charting.

·        Reliable vehicle and insurance.
