Charter School Health
MVNA provides health consultation services to K-12 charter schools to ensure the best possible school health care for students.
We design individual programs to meet the needs of students and staff, ensuring that schools are compliant with federal and state requirements. We provide Licensed School Nurses and Public Health Nurses to assist you.
We also provide staff educational courses on site at schools or other community locations. All supplies are included in course fees and certificates are provided.

Our Services include:
Organization and Set-Up of Health Services:
- Assess school health program
- Set up health services area
- Set up system for first aid and minor illness management
- Develop pupil health record system
- Identify students with
- Incomplete emergency information or immunization history
- Special health needs requiring emergency care plans, evacuation plans, medication administration and IEP's
Individualized Program Services:
- Option 1 - Identify students with incomplete immunization history and/or non-compliance
- Option 2 - Identify students with special health needs
Staff Education Courses:
- CPR and/or AED training
- First aid training
- OSHA training: Employee Right to Know, Bloodborne Pathogens
- Medication administration
- Playground safety and field trip preparation
Follow-Up Services:
- Weekly, monthly or as needed visits
- New/transferred student health needs
- Assist with immunization compliance
- IEP participation
- Coordinate vision and hearing screening
- Assist with contagious illness follow-up
- Assist with preschool screenings
